Community Guidelines
Effective: May 11, 2026 · Last Updated: June 2, 2026
The rules are simple. Respect people, respect boundaries, have a great time.
Independent Contractor Notice: All individuals listed in the Social Additions directory are self-employed Independent Contractors. They are not employees, agents, staff, or representatives of MCC Network LLC or Social Additions. Social Additions is a connection platform only.
Social Additions only works if everyone feels safe. These guidelines aren't buried legalese — they're the actual expectations we hold every user to. Read them. If you can't follow them, this isn't the platform for you.
The Non-Negotiables
These are instant, permanent ban territory. No warnings, no appeals.
For Social Ambassadors
You're the face of Social Additions. The experience starts with you.
Use real, recent photos. Describe yourself accurately. Don't oversell — the right clients will find you.
Show up on time, dressed appropriately, ready to engage. If you need to cancel, give as much notice as possible.
Before the booking, be upfront about what you're comfortable with. During the booking, enforce your boundaries without hesitation. You always have the right to leave.
Be present, be engaged, be good company. That's the job. Put your phone away. Listen more than you talk. Make the other person feel valued.
If a Member makes you uncomfortable, crosses a boundary, or asks for something outside of platonic social connection — report it. We have your back.
For Members
You're booking someone's time and presence. Treat it — and them — with respect.
If a Social Ambassador says no to something, that's the end of the conversation. Don't push, don't persuade, don't "joke" about it.
During the video interview, share the full itinerary — where you're going, what you'll be doing, how long it'll take, dress code if relevant. No surprises.
First bookings should always start in a public place. A restaurant, a hotel lobby, a coffee shop. Not a private residence.
Honor the rate. Honor the deposit. Don't try to renegotiate after the fact. Social Ambassadors rely on this income.
A glass of wine at dinner is fine. Being so drunk you can't hold a conversation isn't. Social Ambassadors have the right to end the booking if you're excessively intoxicated.
Safety Tips for Everyone
What Happens When Rules Are Broken
It depends on the severity:
Late arrivals, poor communication, minor profile inaccuracies. You'll get a warning and a chance to fix it.
Repeated minor violations, no-shows without notice, disrespectful behavior, intoxication during bookings. Your account is suspended while we investigate.
Sexual solicitation, violence, threats, illegal activity, discrimination, identity fraud. Immediate and permanent removal. May be reported to law enforcement.
We take moderation seriously. Flagged content and conduct reports are reviewed by our team as promptly as reasonably practicable. For serious concerns, contact us directly at flag@socialadditions.com or help@socialadditions.com.
How to Report
If something isn't right:
- In the moment: Leave the situation first. Your safety comes before any report.
- After the fact: Email flag@socialadditions.com with as much detail as possible — who, what, when, where.
- Emergency: Call 911. Then contact us.
Reports can be made anonymously. We never reveal who filed a report to the person being reported.
These guidelines exist because we take this seriously. Social Additions is building something new — a way for people to find genuine, trustworthy social hosting. That only works if everyone does their part.
Be the kind of person you'd want to spend an evening with.
