Community Guidelines

Effective: May 11, 2026  ·  Last Updated: June 2, 2026

The rules are simple. Respect people, respect boundaries, have a great time.

Independent Contractor Notice: All individuals listed in the Social Additions directory are self-employed Independent Contractors. They are not employees, agents, staff, or representatives of MCC Network LLC or Social Additions. Social Additions is a connection platform only.

Social Additions only works if everyone feels safe. These guidelines aren't buried legalese — they're the actual expectations we hold every user to. Read them. If you can't follow them, this isn't the platform for you.

The Non-Negotiables

These are instant, permanent ban territory. No warnings, no appeals.

No sexual or romantic solicitation. From either side. Social Additions is platonic social connection. If you're looking for something else, look elsewhere.
No violence, threats, or intimidation. Physical, verbal, or implied.
No illegal activity. Drugs, theft, fraud — anything that breaks the law.
No discrimination. Based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, disability, or anything else. Everyone is welcome here.
No fake profiles or identity fraud. Be who you say you are.

For Social Ambassadors

You're the face of Social Additions. The experience starts with you.

Be honest in your profile.

Use real, recent photos. Describe yourself accurately. Don't oversell — the right clients will find you.

Be reliable.

Show up on time, dressed appropriately, ready to engage. If you need to cancel, give as much notice as possible.

Set clear boundaries.

Before the booking, be upfront about what you're comfortable with. During the booking, enforce your boundaries without hesitation. You always have the right to leave.

Stay professional.

Be present, be engaged, be good company. That's the job. Put your phone away. Listen more than you talk. Make the other person feel valued.

Report bad behavior.

If a Member makes you uncomfortable, crosses a boundary, or asks for something outside of platonic social connection — report it. We have your back.

For Members

You're booking someone's time and presence. Treat it — and them — with respect.

Respect boundaries. Always.

If a Social Ambassador says no to something, that's the end of the conversation. Don't push, don't persuade, don't "joke" about it.

Be clear about your plans.

During the video interview, share the full itinerary — where you're going, what you'll be doing, how long it'll take, dress code if relevant. No surprises.

Meet in public first.

First bookings should always start in a public place. A restaurant, a hotel lobby, a coffee shop. Not a private residence.

Pay what you agreed.

Honor the rate. Honor the deposit. Don't try to renegotiate after the fact. Social Ambassadors rely on this income.

Stay sober enough to be decent company.

A glass of wine at dinner is fine. Being so drunk you can't hold a conversation isn't. Social Ambassadors have the right to end the booking if you're excessively intoxicated.

Safety Tips for Everyone

01 Share your plans. Tell a friend or family member where you're going, who you're meeting, and when you expect to be back.
02 Use the video interview. It's free for a reason. Get a feel for the person before meeting in person. Trust your gut.
03 Meet in public. Restaurants, cafés, hotel lobbies, event venues. Not private residences. Not for the first time.
04 Keep your own transport. Drive yourself, keep a rideshare app ready, or have a friend on standby. Don't rely on the other person to get home.
05 Trust your instincts. If something feels off — before or during a booking — leave. You don't owe anyone an explanation. Your safety comes first.
06 Report everything. Even if it's small. A pattern of "small" issues from the same user is how we prevent big ones.

What Happens When Rules Are Broken

It depends on the severity:

Warning Minor issues

Late arrivals, poor communication, minor profile inaccuracies. You'll get a warning and a chance to fix it.

Suspension Serious issues

Repeated minor violations, no-shows without notice, disrespectful behavior, intoxication during bookings. Your account is suspended while we investigate.

Permanent ban Non-negotiable violations

Sexual solicitation, violence, threats, illegal activity, discrimination, identity fraud. Immediate and permanent removal. May be reported to law enforcement.

We take moderation seriously. Flagged content and conduct reports are reviewed by our team as promptly as reasonably practicable. For serious concerns, contact us directly at flag@socialadditions.com or help@socialadditions.com.

How to Report

If something isn't right:

  • In the moment: Leave the situation first. Your safety comes before any report.
  • After the fact: Email flag@socialadditions.com with as much detail as possible — who, what, when, where.
  • Emergency: Call 911. Then contact us.

Reports can be made anonymously. We never reveal who filed a report to the person being reported.

These guidelines exist because we take this seriously. Social Additions is building something new — a way for people to find genuine, trustworthy social hosting. That only works if everyone does their part.

Be the kind of person you'd want to spend an evening with.
